Thank you for working together and your contribution to the success of the lockdown of Perth and Peel regions which ends at 12:01am tonight, Tuesday 27 April.

However, as advised by the Premier, Perth and Peel regions will continue restrictions until 12:01am this Saturday, 1 May 2021.

Please note, that where Government advice (https://www.wa.gov.au/government/announcements/end-of-lockdown-perth-and-peel) may be unclear, you should use common sense, err on the side of caution and ensure that the safest decision is taken for the needs and vulnerabilities of your community.

Uniting Church WA buildings located in Perth and Peel

• May open from 12:01am tonight, Tuesday 27 April applying the 4 square metre rule to a maximum capacity of 20 people.
• 1.5 metre distancing rule applies.
• Face masks must be worn.
• Weddings and funerals can proceed with up to 100 guests, but require an exemption and COVID Event Plan.

Please note, anyone in an unaffected region who has been in Perth or Peel since Saturday, 17 April must comply with mask-wearing requirements.

Uniting Church Centre remains closed.

The Uniting Church Centre will remain closed.  If you have meetings scheduled this week to attend the Uniting Church Centre, please meet via Zoom, postpone or cancel. You will be advised by the Committee Organiser.

Some Uniting Church WA staff will return to work in the Uniting Church Centre in consultation with their manager on a voluntary basis.  Others will continue to work from their homes to support and resource you.  Contact may be made directly with any staff member, or please phone (08)92609800 from 9.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday and your call will be answered.  The relevant staff member (Synod or Presbytery) will be in touch with you.  Please note, many of our staff work part-time and they will respond as soon as possible.

Subject to Government advice, we intend to re-open the Uniting Church Centre again at 9am on Monday, 3 May.
